After hearing about the successes and challenges of two significant international authorities, all audience members will be encouraged to contribute to interactive round table discussions expanding on the themes discussed. This is a unique opportunity to hear insights into key areas of XBRL implementation and learn from the experiences of regulators, making this workshop very useful to organisations looking to navigate their own implementations, regardless of what stage of the process they are in.

The themes of the workshop and round tables are

  • Data Management
  • Data Quality
  • Publishing Data

Round Table discussions will be guided by representatives of the presenting organisation and Best Practices Board. Topics for round table discussion may include: Best approaches for making XBRL viewable by business users; how to provide support for users in the filing processes; how, why and when to integrate XBRL into the filers’ reporting chain; ensuring data quality; maximising benefit from published XBRL data and best practices for consuming XBRL in business intelligence processes.
